I ended up on this page a few days ago, and I've wasted a lot of time in the evenings digging through the site. Huge high res beautiful images of the planet.
Some of my favorite examples:
Anything on the
Blue Marble
pages, like the new
whole planet cloud free composites for every month of the year
downloadable at resolutions up to 2km/pixel (21600x10800 pixels!!!). (You can email and beg for the 0.5km/pixel ones.)
Western Hemisphere view from space
(my current desktop image)
Australia from space
with the Asian continent still in night with city light visible.
The Image of the day archive
is a good way to waste time. You will find things like
snow in Hawaii
,
goosenecks in Utah
, and even

I think your post still needs a little HTML editing... :)
The shot of snow in Hawaii was nice. I was actually up working that day, but the resolution isn't good enough to show me waving.
