GSCam brings you a day of snow on Mission Peak. Our web cam
(Giant Sequoia Cam -- broox.net/sequoia) takes a picture once every 5 minutes. This is from March 11, 2006, the second day in a row Mission Peak had snow. Considering it's only about 2500 ft tall, and in Fremont, CA, near the coast, snow is a pretty unusual thing on Mission Peak. So should it worry me that in March we had several weeks of regular snow at the higher elevations around here, and then in July over a week of record high temperatures? It's almost like California is getting seasons.
Apologies for the occasional jumps in perspective, GSCam was in a window accessible to cats this day.
